Dr. Jane Njeri Wanyoike is a top-tier executive with unmatched expertise in education, leadership, human resource management(HRM), monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning, curricula development, examination management, certification, and Recognition of Prior Learning(RPL). She is adept at training, research, education, human resource management, leadership, and strategic planning.
Dr. Wanyoike holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in HRM from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology(JKUAT), a Master of Business Administration (HRM) from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Education, with Honors from Kenyatta University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. Further, she holds a professional certificate in Recognition of Prior Learning(RPL) from the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO), Better Frameworks and Systems for Lifelong Learning (African Union), the Strategic Leadership Development Programme(SLDP) for the Kenya School of Government, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning among other qualifications. She is an Alumnus of Mary Hill Girls High School and a Practicing Member in good standing of the Institute of Human Resource Management.
Dr. Wanyoike has more than 20 years of industry experience in senior leadership, education, training, and consultancy. She has sat on several boards, committees, and task forces and lectured at public and private universities. She has provided real-time solutions, enhanced unmatched commitment to moving institutions and departments from being cost centers to profit centers, and enhanced excellence in RPL, human capital management, training, curriculum development, education, and management of national examinations. Currently, she is a practicing consultant, researcher, and trainer and works with The Co-operative University of Kenya.
Her 20+ high profile and progressive leadership are punctuated with leading-edge solutions in developing and integrating systems in leading top-performing teams, policy formulation, development, and implementation. Her expertise and contribution in various fields have been the pillar that has resulted in the realization of various mandates notably the Human Resource Management Professionals (HRMP) Act 2012 among other notable achievements.
She has coordinated the development, implementation, and review of national curricula among them CHRP curricula, HRMPEB diploma and Certificate, and Kirinyaga University HR curriculum. She has led in reviewing policies, standards, and procedures for the management of human resources, and national and internal examinations including those of the Centre for Parliamentary Studies and Training(CPST).
Dr. Wanyoike has coordinated talent sourcing and development of staff, test item writers, moderators, invigilators, examiners, checkers, and data analysts and defined their roles. She established the systems of management, and collaboration with County Directors of Education, Officers Commanding Stations, security, and institutions across the country, in the management of CHRP examinations. She led the Certification and Gazettement of the 1st ever, six cohorts of the CHRP Examinations.
In the course of duty, Dr. Wanyoike has engineered innovative solutions and used emerging business practices to provide high-level technical expertise and oversight in developing monitoring, evaluation, and learning structures while promoting a high level of collaboration, and linkages with stakeholders.
